Team HRC about the Dutch GP
Two completely different stories at Team HRC about the Grand Prix of the Netherlands. Tim Gajser was of course very satisfied, while it became a match to forget for Mitch Evans, but will he succeed? The duo talks about the second MXGP of the season.
Tim Gajser:
“I'm super happy, especially after what happened yesterday (Saturday) and that puts me in a bad starting place. Fortunately I had two good starts and that helped me a lot. I then quickly made several overtakes, then got to the front and controlled the race. In the second moto I was behind Jeffrey and we were both pushing hard. I regularly got the full brunt of my glasses and that hindered my vision a bit. Overall I'm really happy with the weekend and I can't wait to get to the next race.”
Mitch Evans:
“Really disappointed to leave here with my arm in a sling, without even completing a lap. I got hit by another rider on the first descent, which caused me to hit someone else and get thrown off the bike. I've never had my shoulder dislocated, but I must say it hurts. Fortunately, they were able to put it back in quickly. We will make an MRI scan as soon as possible to see exactly what the damage is. I really hope it won't be too serious and I can ride again soon, I'm already looking forward to riding again!”
