Jordon Smith suffers knee injury in Daytona
In the final during the ninth game of the season, Jordon Smith fell. The Kawasaki rider was battling Shane Mcelrath for second place when he crashed in the sand. The Team Pro Circuit rider injured his knee in this crash and after an MRI scan it became clear what exactly the damage was. The cruciate ligaments are torn and the meniscus is also damaged! This brings an early end to the Supercross championship. It is not yet known whether the team will field a replacement during the second half of the season.
