Britt van der Werff sustains a collarbone injury
Last weekend, Britt van der Werff was in action during the first race of the FIM WMX World Championship. During the first round on the Matterley Basin circuit, the woman from Brabant hurt her collarbone. Despite the pain, the Suzuki rider managed to cross the finish line in fourteenth. Unfortunately, she was unable to take action in the second heat due to swelling. An examination was carried out in the 'Medical Centre' and the collarbone was probably dislocated for a while. Van der Werff will be treated intensively in the coming days because next weekend the second WMX competition will take place on the Valkenswaard circuit.
