Jago Geerts starts the season with a win!
The first blow is worth a dollar and that blow was dealt by Jago Geerts! The Yamaha rider won the first round of the FIM MX2 World Championship in Matterley Basin. The Belgian won ahead of Jed Beaton and pole starter Mikkel Haarup! In front of his own audience, Conrad Mewse provided a positive surprise by finishing fourth ahead of Alberto Forato. Roan van de Moosdijk finishes ninth and Bas Vaessen crosses the finish line in 16th. No points for Cyril Genot (30th) and Nathan Renkens (34th).
