Collaboration Jago Geerts and Steve Ramon continues!
It had been known in motocross circles for some time that two-time world champion Steve Ramon and Jago Geerts would continue their long-standing collaboration in 2020. Today it is now official news. On Friday afternoon, in a meeting that took place in Balen, the final points were discussed about where and when Steve Ramon can pass on his terrain knowledge. Like all previous seasons, the collaboration is achieved through supportng of Sport Vlaanderen and Bouwconcept.
Jago Geerts: “I am very pleased that I can count on Steve Ramon in 2020 as well. His driving advice during training and competitions is of crucial importance to me. Sometimes it is very small clues on the ground that can make the difference between profit and loss. Just the fact that I can call Steve to meet at different training areas makes a big difference to me. I absorb the knowledge and experience that the two-time world champion gives me like a sponge to become even better."
Steve Ramon: “Like Jago, I look forward to the next chapter in our collaboration. Trainings, internships with Sport Vlaanderen and competitions at the highest level give me the opportunity to pass on my knowledge and experience to a super talented rider like Jago. Deep down I hope that Jago Geerts will become the new MX2 world champion.
