News from Brian Moreau.
The French motocross rider crashed last weekend during the Supercross in Tampa. Four days after his accident there is news about Brian Moreau who, as you may remember, underwent surgery on Saturday evening for a fracture of the C7 vertebra. Moreau was only three laps into the first free practice session when he fell heavily and suffered a major impact to his head. His manager Gérard Vallat gives the latest details about Brian's health.
"The medical staff evacuated the French pilot “without respecting any protocol“, underlined Gérard Vallat. This aspect of the incident will be studied further in the coming days, but for now Brian's health comes first. “Brian was then rushed to hospital and had surgery on the C7 vertebra to fix it. When he arrived in the operating room, he was moving his upper body, but had no feeling in his legs. The spinal cord was compressed, but not cut. It is now necessary to wait until the bruising has disappeared and the pressure on the spinal cord decreases. This can take about ten days. Now we have to wait to know the possible developments. His mother has left to join him and will be by his side today“Gerard explains. We hope that the coming days will bring positive signs for Brian and his family!
