Julien Lieber out with a wrist injury!
Just before the start of the Motocross World Championship in Matterley Basin, our compatriot has to throw in the towel. He announced on his social media this morning that he will not be present at the first GP. Lieber has been suffering from a wrist injury for some time and cannot go all out on the bike. Minor surgery is required, which may force him to miss three games. It is a dampener for the brand new JM Honda Racing Team of Jacky Martens, which will now complete the race in England with Benoit Paturel.
This is what it said: “Really sad to say Julien will not participate at the first three MXGP's. He had some problems with his wrist and couldn't ride like he wanted so he decided with the team to sit out for few races. He will undergo a small surgery and hopes to be back as soon as possible."
