Haarup on British pole after time training
Due to the bad weather conditions, the race management decided not to participate in qualifying races during the British Grand Prix. On the Matterley Basin circuit, the starting grid is determined by means of a timed training. Mikkel Haarup managed to set the fastest time ahead of his F&H Kawasaki Racing colleague Roan van de Moosdijk. Jago Geerts has the third fastest time, just 0,6 seconds behind the fast Dane. Tom Vialle is good for the fourth fastest time, followed by the British Conrad Mewse.
Bas Vaessen is 16th at the starting gate, Cyril Genot is 21st and Nathan Renkens is 37th.
