Ferrandis increases his lead with a third victory
At Petco Park, Dylan Ferrandis won the sixth event of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship 250SX West. The Yamaha rider celebrates his third victory of the season and increases his lead in the standings to seven points! In San Diego, Austin Forkner finished second ahead of Justin Cooper. Fourth place goes to Husqvarna rider Michael Mosiman followed by KTM rider Brandon Hartranft.
In the final Forkner starts very well, but Mosiman takes the lead ahead of Luke Clout and Forkner. The Kawasaki rider quickly returns to second place and is able to pass Mosiman a little later. Ferrandis sees the danger and also passes Mosiman, after which the battle for the lead begins. It's tough but fair and both riders don't avoid contact. The Frenchman from Avignon goes for it and he beats Forkner, giving Yamaha their fourth victory of the season! Forkner comes second ahead of Cooper who sees his teammate increase his lead by five points.
