Finally a win for champion Webb!
It took a while but Cooper Webb has taken his first win of the season! The KTM rider managed to win the sixth round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship in San Diego. Adam Cianciarulo is second ahead of Blake Baggett. Fourth place goes to Eli Tomac, followed by Justin Barcia and Ken Roczen, who sees Tomac approaching within one point!
In the final over 20 minutes and one lap, Baggett takes the best start ahead of Aaron Plessinger, Cianciarulo and Webb. The KTM rider storms into the lead, but the 'rookie' does not give up easily. The fight for victory is fierce but dignified, but it is Webb who manages to take the full spoils! Baggett completes the stage for Tomac and Barcia who argue after the match. The Kawasaki rider does not agree with his Alpinestars colleague, but in our opinion Barcia is doing nothing wrong, unlike his action on Martin Davalos during the 'Pressday'. Roczen manages to limit the damage, finishing sixth ahead of his teammate Justin Brayton.
