BMB presents Belgian Masters 2020 and new promoter
Like you yesterday learned, the Belgian Masters of Motocross will be completed over three races: Nismes, Keiheuvel-Balen and Orp-le-Grand. After the false start to 2019, changes in the World Cup calendar threw a spanner in the works for Balen and Orp, the BMB is now coming out with an ambitious plan!
This year the Keiheuvel and Orp are again on the calendar and the new championship will be further expanded with a new round in Nismes. The Belgian Masters Championship 2020 will therefore take place on the beautiful circuits of Nismes (Motorcross of the Nations in '97 and various GPs), the well-known and praised sand circuit of the Keiheuvel in Balen and the final on the 'small' citadel in Orp- le-Grand.
The competition in Nismes will take place in the context of the well-known international youth competition, the 'Master Kids' with numerous young talents not only from all over Europe but also from the United States. A title of Belgian Champion Belgian Masters 250 and a title of Belgian Champion Belgian Masters 500 will be awarded. Each Belgian Master competition will consist of a free training of 5 minutes, immediately followed by a timed training of 20 minutes. This is followed by 2 races of 30 minutes and 1 lap. Grand Prix riders receive a guarantee of qualification.
Attendees
The participants of the Belgian Masters 250 and 500 can earn a lot of money in Nismes, Balen and Orp. The total prize pool divided among the first 15 of each class amounts to EUR 14.750. Moreover, an agreement will be concluded with various Grand Prix riders so that the public is assured of competitions at the highest level!
Promotion
Another important novelty is the collaboration with Arno van den Brink, also known from www.motocrossplanet.nl, who has been working with the Dutch federation (KNMV) for the Dutch Masters for a number of years. He will be responsible for the entire promotion of the championship and will take care of the circuit decoration in consultation with the organizer and the association. In addition, an extensive video report will be made of each match and Arno will provide extensive previews, interviews, reporting and photos on the digital platforms. In short, every competition will be given a new look! So make a note of the dates in your diary now and come and discover the new Belgian Masters 2020.
