New location MXGP Spain: intu Xanadu in Arroyomolinos
Youthstream today put an end to months of speculation. The location for the Spanish GP was announced today. It's about intu Xanadú in Arroyomolinos (Comunidad de Madrid). The MXGP of Spain will take place on April 18 and 19.
After a one-year hiatus, the Spanish GP returns to the World Cup calendar. Over the next three years the MXGP will visit intu Xanadú. This hard, new course is located just 22 km from the center of Madrid.
The GP was made possible thanks to the support of the Community of Madrid, the Vice Ministry of Sports, the RFME (Royal Spanish Motorcycle Federation) and the Madrid Motorcycle Federation. watch here the complete World Cup calendar
It is expected that reigning MX2 world champion and home rider Jorge Prado will also be back in April. Jorge broke his left femur more than a month ago. “Of course this is one of the most important appointments of the year for me,” Prado said. In addition to the GP classes, the EMX125 and WMX are also in action in Spain.
