Austin Forkner loses podium spot!
The judges have stripped Austin Forkner of his third place in the first round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship 250cc West. The Kawasaki rider made a mistake and hit the 'tuff blocks' causing him to lose the lead. He did not hit the ground but ended up perpendicular to the track. Because he continued the race and cut a complete turn, the race management punished him. Forkner does not finish third but fifth, Christian Craig and Michael Mosiman move up one place.
