VIDEO: Pastrana swaps Suzuki for KTM
There are no more certainties in life. Travis Pastrana, who has been on Suzuki for almost his entire life, dropped a bomb on Instagram today by announcing that he is switching to KTM. It became increasingly difficult to find engines and parts for the Suzukis because it has been almost 15 years since the production of two-stroke engines was stopped in Hamamatsu.
Pastrana secured a deal with KTM thanks to the help of Roger De Coster and Ian Harrison. This way, Travis gains access to recent two-stroke technology from the Austrian manufacturer and the Pastrana/Suzuki tandem comes to an end after 28 years.
