The Belgians in 2020
2019 is almost over and on the Belgian side it was a season with the necessary ups and downs. Fortunately, the Belgian pilots will get a second chance next season, to make 2020 another great year. We at MXMag will go over the Belgians who were active at World Championship level in 2019 and see where they will ride in 2020.

After signing a last minute agreement with the team last season, The Jerre will return in 2020 with team Honda SR Motoblouz in the MXGP World Championship.

Clement Desalle: Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP (MXGP)
2019: Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP
14th MXGP World Championship (missed the last 10 races due to injuries)
2020:
In 2020, Clement Desalle will start his 5th season for the Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP.

Will start his third full World Cup season in 2020, and will start as title favorite.

Brent Van Doninck: ASA United Husqvarna (MXGP)
2019: Team Assomotor
17th MX2 World Championship (missed a total of three GPs)
2020:
For 2020, Van Doninck must switch to the MXGP due to the age limit in the MX2 class. Brent eventually found refuge with the ASA United Husqvarna team, where he will mainly focus on the British Championship.
Cyril Genot: IXS Honda (MX2)
2019: A1M Husqvarna racing
34th MX2 World Championship (Participated in a total of six GPs)
2020
After joining A2019M Husqvarna racing in 1, Cyril will make his full-time GP debut for IXS Yamaha in 2020.
