Brian Hsu is crowned Prince of Lyon!
A bit in our hibernation, we noticed later that supercross was not only taking place in Germany this weekend, but also in France. There in Lyon the pilots competed for points for the SX Tour title.
In the SX2 class, Yannis Irsuti won Friday's final. This for the “Violin Rider” Brian Hsu. The podium was completed on Friday by Julien Roussaly. On the second evening of the Lyon supercross, Brian Hsu managed to take victory again. This by finishing ahead of Friday's winner, Yannis Irsuti. Pierre Lozzi finished third to complete the podium. Brian Hsu immediately crowned himself “Prince of Lyon” with his second place and his victory.
Championship leader Thomas Do had a not so great weekend in Lyon with only a fifth and fourth place in the finals. As a result, Yannis Irsuti is now closing in on just five points. This will certainly give extra cachet to the next two events in Geneva and Switzerland, Switzerland Amneville, just across the border with Belgium, about 2h40 from Brussels.
