Joël Robert rewarded for his career at the FIM gala.
Last weekend, the best names in motorsport were guests in Monaco for the traditional gala of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme. This is the annual opportunity for the FIM to honor the winners of the international championships. All disciplines covered by the F.I.M. falls are discussed, but people who have made history in motorsport were also invited.
Our compatriot Joël Robert was also among the guests. With six world titles in motocross, he is one of the most successful riders in history. Only during the period of Stefan Everts was he dethroned. In Monaco, Robert was rewarded by the FIM for his exceptional career. Joël presented the trophies to the 2019 world champions in the off-road disciplines.

The six-time world champion was not the only Belgian in Monaco. FMB/BMB chairman Olivier Rougraff, secretary general Stijn Rentmeesters, Christian Dejasse and Jos Driessen were also in Monaco to participate in the annual general meeting and awards ceremony.
