Successful shoulder surgery Raivo Dankers
Hutten Metal Yamaha Racing rider Raivo Dankers has had successful shoulder surgery. Dankers suffered that injury just after the season. Because the problems persisted even after a period of rest, surgery was necessary.
Dankers fell during his last training after the season. He suffered a painful shoulder, but because there was a rest period planned afterwards, the injury was not immediately diagnosed. This only came when he recently resumed motorcycle training. All physical training went without any problems, but Raivo suffered so much during cross-country that he had himself further examined.
After making a CT scan, it became clear that the capsule of the Labrum in his shoulder had been torn off. Raivo had surgery for this this week and everything inside the shoulder has recovered well. This injury has put a dent in Raivo's preparation, but it looks like he will be fit in time before the season starts and he will not have to miss any important matches!
The first important match is scheduled for March 7 and 8 in Valkenswaard. Raivo will start that weekend in the first race of the EMX250 championship!
