SM Action Yamaha Stakes Henry Jacobi!
SM Action Yamaha has finally confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Henry Jacobi for the 2020 season. Next season will be Jacobi's rookie year in the MXGP World Championship.
After an excellent season finale in the MX2 World Championship with Maxime Renaux, 2020 is shaping up to be exciting for SM Action Yamaha. Emanuele Giovannelli's team not only secured Henry Jacobi's services, the German also immediately rode a factory bike in his rookie year!
“We can finally formally confirm the news that had been leaked for some time. Next year we will be behind the MXGP starting gate with an official Yamaha 450cc motorcycle. That engine will be manned by the young Henry Jacobi. We are very happy and proud of the entire team and are ready to take on this new challenge,” the team stated on Instagram.
In addition to Jacobi in the MXGP and Renaux in the MX2 World Championship, SM Action counts on the talented Andrea Adamo and Nicolo Folli in the EMX250.
