Rick Elzinga leaves Yamaha Europe
Young Dutch talent Rick Elzinga has revealed that he will no longer compete for Yamaha Europe next year. Elzinga showed some positive things during his first year of EMX250, so he is hoping for even better results in the coming season. However, 2019 did not go to plan as Elzinga suffered an injury but he hopes to be back on the bike in two months if all goes well with his recovery.
Elzinga via his Facebook page: “ Yesterday I went to the doctor to have x-rays taken. My arm should be ready to move again but my leg will need 6 to 8 weeks before it is fully healed and strong enough to ride a motorcycle again. I think some are wondering where I'm going in 2020, but I can't say yet, I'll let you all know soon. But as you know, I will no longer ride for Yamaha Europe."
