Justin Barcia already takes option on “King of Paris” title! (+VIDEOS)
Justin Barcia has already secured a big option on the “King of Paris” title on the first evening of the Supercross in Paris. “BamBam” Barcia scored strongly by scoring a third place and a second place finish in the first two heats. The Monster Energy Yamaha pilot managed to win the last round and therefore scored only six points in the standings, where we work towards the fewest points! As a result, the Yamaha pilot is immediately about seven points ahead of Vince Friese and eight points ahead of Joey Savatgy. The second and third in the race for the title.
What happened to home favorite Dylan Ferrandis you wonder? Dylan Ferrandis started the evening well, by snatching victory from Justin Hill in the first moto with the necessary aggressiveness. However, things then went wrong twice at the start, a slightly over-enthusiastic Dylan Ferrandis twice caused a crash in the first corner. As a result, he thwarted his own chances for the title of “King of Paris” but also those of Malcolm Stewart, among others, whom he crashed in the third moto. Both men are currently fourth and fifth in the standings, but tomorrow they have to collect eight and nine points respectively in three heats. In other words, finishing an average of three places above Justin Barcia in all three heats... We are already looking forward to it.
