The Monster Energy Cup and the Supercross title
For most drivers and teams, the new season starts during the MonsterEnergy Cup in October. The MonsterEnergy AMA Supercross Championship three months later is of course the big goal! Adam Cianciarulo made a spectacular debut in Las Vegas, but it remains to be seen whether he will win the title. After nine editions of the MonsterEnergy Cup, we have only managed to win the title once more than eight months later. Ryan Villopoto is the only rider, he won the “MEC” in 2011 and became the Supercross champion in 2012!!
