Charles Lefrancios wins the first evening in Stuttgart.
The first evening of the ADAC Supercross in Stuttgart was won by Charles Lefrancios. The 29-year-old Suzuki rider managed to win the final ahead of the Americans Ryan Breece and Mike Alessi! In the SX2 the victory went to Hakon Frederiksen. The only Lowlander who managed to place himself in the Hans-Martin Schleyer Halle was Jeroen Bussink!
SX1
When the starting gate goes down for the 20-lap final, Lefrancios immediately takes the lead ahead of Justin Starling and Boris Maillard. However, both are quickly passed by Alessi who tries to take the lead. However, that does not happen and 31-year-old Alessi gets into trouble with Breece. The Meyer Yamaha rider is faster but he needs a lot of time to pass his compatriot. In the final phase, 24-year-old Breece manages to take over second place, but the leader has disappeared from view. Breece comes second ahead of Alessi, Tyler Bowers and Justin Starling, who won the overall in Zuidbroek last week.
SX2
In the final, Prol Ormeno has Xurxo, but the Spaniard receives a heavy blow from Frederiksen in the first corner. Clément Briatte takes the lead but 17-year-old Frederiksen quickly takes over the best position. Paul Haberland follows and the German is able to keep pressure on the leader for the first five laps. The Becker Racing rider then distances himself and the Norwegian wins the final ahead of Haberland and Xurxo, who comes back to third place! The American Dare Demartile crosses the finish line in fourth ahead of Briatte. Bussink managed to get straight into the final via the heat race and finished eighth!
