Chad Reed: 2020 will be my last year!
The Australian has confirmed that 2020 will be his last season and that he will hang up his helmet afterwards. The SX specialist has had a stellar career and there were doubts as to whether he would be able to contest the AMA Supercross Championship for next season, but he is expected to have the backing of Mountain Motorsports. Reed broke two ribs only three weeks ago but will still be able to start this weekend in the AUS-X Open Supercross in Melbourne.
Anaheim 1 will be his 250th start in a Supercross race and that is a remarkably high number. Chad Reed will have had a career of just over 20 years. “The goal is to go racing. I am confident that it will work... We are working on finding enough sponsors for this latest campaign. I'm excited. 2020 will be my last season, so it's an important season. I'm excited“said Reed.
