Valk and Kooij sign with TBS Conversions-KTM
Previously, TBS conversions KTM announced the arrival of Amber and Kevin Simons, Romain Delbrasinne and Afonso Gaidao. Today it was announced that the talented Cas Valk and Jarni Kooij have also chosen the young Limburg team.
Valk ended his last year in the 85cc class on a high note. Cas won the title in both the Dutch Masters of Motocross and the ONK. He attracted international attention during the Danish EMX85 preliminary round, where the rider from Nijverdal won ahead of fellow countryman Ivano Van Erp.
Kempen resident Jarni Kooij had a mixed transition season after several years of injuries. In the youth ranks, however, Kooij proved that he is one of the best Belgians of his generation. Next year we will see Jarni in action again in the EMX250. Cas Valk will make his debut in the EMX125.
In addition to the arrival of Kooij and Valk, TBS Conversions confirms its confidence in Wannes Van De Voorde and Yoran Moens, who already played for the Steensels brothers' team this season. Van de Voorde mainly focuses on the Dutch Masters of Motocross in addition to competitions in his own country. Just like for Valk, the EMX125 forms the main part for Moens. It will also be Yoran's first full season on 125cc. In addition to the European competitions, the sympathetic pilot from Kampenhout concentrates on the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125.
Team manager Tom Steensels: “With Jarni (Kooij) and Cas (Valk), our team is complete for next season. I think we have a really cool mix of riders with this. It will be a very busy year both in terms of the number of riders and our calendar, but everyone is looking forward to it. We are very much looking forward to the new season and we will continue to work hard in the coming weeks to prepare everything as best as possible.”
