SIDI presents new Atojo SRS boots!
In presence of Alessandro Lupino, Tony Cairoli, Jorge Prado and Billy Bolt presented Sidi with their new off-road boot at the EICMA last week. The Atojo was named after Alessondro, TOny and JOrge who played an active role in the development of Sidi's new boots!
Finding a new name for a new product is not always easy. However, this time it was obvious for Sidi! The contribution of Sidi's ambassadors was so important that they lent their name, or at least part of it, to the ATOJO SRS!
Sidi has always been at the forefront of performance, comfort and protection. However, for these new boots, the Italian brand aimed for a significant improvement in weight. No less than 250 grams were won per boot! Development of these new motocross and enduro boots began a year ago when nine-time world champion Tony Cairoli requested a lighter boot. The upper part in particular had to be 'slimmed down'.
The test phase of the various prototypes was the responsibility of four-time Italian champion Alessandro Lupino. Afterwards, rising star Jorge Prado also gave his feedback. Prado, Cairoli and Lupino will drive the new Sidi ATOJO'S in 2020!
