Torre Van Mechgelen loses lead after disqualification!
On Saturday, September 21, after the second round in Westerbork, two motorcycles were taken for a random check. Torre Van Mechgelen's engine was rejected during that technical inspection. As the regulations prescribe, all points achieved up to that point in the ONK will be forfeited. The Belgian therefore loses the lead in the standings of the KNMV Open Dutch Championship 50cc! With one more match on the calendar, Kenzo Jaspers is the new leader in the standings, only 20 points behind, followed by Elvis Totney.
