Mikkel Haarup completes F&H Racing Team
The F&H Racing Team will compete in the FIM MX2020 World Championship with three riders in 2. It was already known that both Roan van de Moosdijk and Mathys Boisrame would play for the South Holland team. Mikkel Haarup is now joining us, the Dane will ride his first full Grand Prix season on a Motul lubricated KX250F! The 18-year-old rider from Silkeborg has been one of the talents who can achieve great success in the future for many years. In 2017 he won the Dutch Masters of Motocross 125cc title by winning all eight heats. The same year he finished second in the EMX125, but due to an injury he had to miss races, but later he still took the vice title.
F&H Racing Team is really looking forward to getting started with Mikkel and the other two drivers! A group of very talented riders will be prepared in the winter to get off to a strong start for F&H in 2020!
Mikkel Haarup: “I believe it is a very good step for me to join the F&H Racing Team. It's a step forward after four years with my previous team. I feel Kawasaki is very supportive and they will do a good job helping me develop in the future. The team has done very well in recent years and they are working very hard to get even better! Their goal is the same as mine… to win the world championship! It's nice to have a team where the focus is the same. Of course it's a step up to compete in the world championship and the intensity is even higher. I think everyone can see the results that Roan achieved at the end of the season and that shows how strong the EMX250 is. I've already done a few GPs this year, so I think I'm well prepared to be ready for next year. It will be interesting to work with Marc de Reuver; he is clearly a good trainer and I am looking forward to working with him. It will certainly be interesting and you can see that every rider he has worked with has improved.”
