Leijtens is doing good business at De Witte Ruysheuvel
In Oss, Eric Leijtens managed to win the fourth match of the No Fear Energy Cup. The KTM rider managed to win both heats by a wide margin. He (photo) significantly increases his lead over his pursuers! He came to 'De Witte Ruysheuvel' with a three-point lead, but now the difference has increased to 29 points!
First heat
In the timed training, Mike Bolink managed to set the best time, just 0,029 behind Leijtens. However, the rider from Waspik takes the best start in the first heat ahead of Jaap Corneth, Roel van Oort, Dylan van Veghel and Roy Hoeijmakers. No one can argue with the leader who wins the race by almost 20 seconds. Corneth managed to hold onto second place for the first half of the race, but then the Limburger disappeared from the race with a broken wheel. Van Veghel has passed Van Oort and the rider from Oss knows how to take advantage when Corneth has to leave. Bolink was not able to make good use of 'pole' and started the race in eleventh place, only to cross the finish line in third place ahead of Jarno Derks and MON Inters Open champion Jacky Tausch.
Second heat
Just after 16.30:18 PM Tausch takes the best start for the second heat, but Leijtens already takes the lead in the first climb up. After that it is a copy of the first round because the Brabander takes distance and wins with an XNUMX second lead! Tausch battles with Derks for second place and it is the Yamaha rider who comes second ahead of the Hannamax Motorsport rider. Van Veghel now crosses the finish line in fourth ahead of Bolink.
Van Vehhel rises to second place in the standings ahead of Davy Janssen who dropped many points today. The championship continues next weekend at the former GP circuit of Lierop!
