Frederiksen pulls the curtain, Willems on the podium in Open Class!!
Not as many big names in the Open class as was previously the case. This is due to the date, tactical or otherwise, of the European Motocross of Nations in Poland. However, you race with whoever is there and that included a strong Norwegian delegation! Of that delegation, Hakon Frederiksen proved to be the strongest of the entire field. This by finishing fourth in the first moto and winning the other two motos!
On the Belgian side we saw a strong performance from Erik Willems. With two third places and a seventh place in the heats, the young man managed to rank third in the overall result, behind the already mentioned winner Hakon Frederiksen and Tim Edberg.
