MXGP China: Arnaud Tonus hospitalized
Arnaud Tonus had a hard crash earlier today during the qualifying race in Shanghai. Although he apparently left the match on his own without any problems, the 28-year-old Swiss complained of breathing problems.
Tonus was taken to a local hospital for further observation, the Monster Energy Wilvo Yamaha MXGP team said. As soon as more information is known about his situation, this will be communicated by his team.
Before the last two rounds of the MXGP season, Arnaud is fifth. If he doesn't score any points tomorrow, there is a chance that he will still be matched by Pauls Jonass. Tonus has also been selected for the Swiss MX of Nations team. Hopefully the course isn't too bad.
