Lucas and Van Mechgelen win in the ONK!
Maxime Lucas and Douwe van Mechgelen won a match of the KNMV Open Dutch Youth Championship on the beautiful Hellendoorn circuit. In the 65cc KW, Lucas (photo) managed to take the day's victory with a second and first place, ahead of Jayson van Drunen (1-3) and Tyla van de Poel (3-2). In the 85cc Small Wheels, victory also went to Belgium thanks to Van Mechgelen, who won both heats. The British Harrison Greenough (3-3) came second ahead of Vince de Haas (2-6). In the 65cc Big Wheels, victory went to Lotte van Drunen, the Team Beursfoon rider won both heats and therefore the day's ranking. Gyan Doensen (2-2) came second ahead of Dani Heitink (4-3).
