King Willem-Alexander is coming to the MX of Nations!
His Majesty King Willem-Alexander will also be present at the MX of Nations at TT Circuit Assen on Sunday afternoon, September 29! During this motocross competition of the international motorcycle association Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme between national teams, 40 national teams compete for victory.
King Willem-Alexander attends the closing heat and the honoring of the winners. Before the match, the King visits the paddock to meet the Dutch technical team. After the competition, the King will meet the participants of TeamNL. The King will also speak with representatives of the Royal Dutch Motorcyclists Association and the organizer Stichting MXGP Assen, among others.
This year the MX of Nations will be held in the Netherlands for the first time in 15 years and is on the NOC / NSF top sports calendar. The competition has its origins in the Netherlands. In 1947 the competition was held for the first time in Duinrell, Wassenaar.
