IMBA: Mike Keuben takes the lead together with Zac Snell
On September 8, the sidecars rode their third IMBA competition in Kersbeek, Belgium. The day's victory went to the Dutch Mike Keuben and Zac Snell with three heat victories. Snell replaced Lars de Laat and will also compete for points for the European Championship at Keuben's side in the remaining matches. With this victory, Keuben also took over the lead in the battle for the title. Second place in the daily rankings went to the Belgians Christian Corthouts/Levi Vaes. With a third, fourth and second place in the heats, they achieved the same number of points as the Dutch combination Frank Mulders/Aivar van de Wiel. Based on the third round, Corthouts/Vaes were second on the podium and kept Mulders/van de Wiel behind them. The second Belgian combination Stan Goeyvaerts/Ben Martens finished in fourth place and the Germans Georg Prümmer/Tobias Lange finished fifth.
Leaders in the standings Andreas Clohse/Marius Strauss (Germany) had a bad day and fell to fifth place in the standings.
