IMBA: Glenn Bielen takes the day's victory in the final round!
On August 25, the fourth race in the IMBA MX open class was held in Huldenberg, Belgium. It remained an exciting battle until the end to see who would take the day's victory. It was home rider Glenn Bielen who passed both James Dodd (GBR) and Jacky Tausch (Ned) on the last lap of the third heat and managed to take both the heat and the day victory. Tausch therefore had to be satisfied with second place in the daily rankings. The best business was done by Dodd, who with his third place in the day's standings managed to extend his lead in the championship standings to 94 points over Stijn Verstrepen (Bel). Nicolaj Damsgaard (Den) and Ashley Thomas (GBR) finished the day in fourth and fifth place.
There are two more matches scheduled for this championship. The next competition is in Meijel, Netherlands, on September 15. Two weeks later the final match will be in Kleinau, Germany.
