Cooper wins MX2 qualifying for Flanders, Geerts fourth
Justin Cooper won the MX2 qualifying at the MonsterEnergy Motocross of Nations in autumnal conditions. The American immediately took the lead and never relinquished it. Calvin Vlaanderen had a reasonable start in the top ten. He then needs a lot of time to pass Adam Sterry for fifth place! After the Brit has passed, Flanders quickly makes up places and returns to second place. The gap to leader Cooper is even reduced from ten seconds to five, but then the checkered flag falls. Kyle Webster crosses the finish line in third place ahead of Jago Geerts! Italian Alberto Forato completes the top five.
