Tomac crowns his work with victory in the last AMA National of 2019!
Eli Tomac already captured the AMA 450 Motocross title last week in Budds Creek, so the Kawasaki pilot was able to take the last race of the season calmly. However, this was not included in the Monster Energy Kawasaki pilot. In the first series, the spectators saw an interesting battle for the series victory towards the end of the series between the three-time AMA 450 Outdoors champion and the two Europeans who had escaped; Ken Roczen and Marvin Musquin.
A duel that Marvin Musquin managed to win in extremis for Ken Roczen and Eli Tomac. However, Marvin Musquin's chance of overall victory quickly evaporated when the Frenchman crashed hard on the first lap of the second heat after an unfortunate and completely involuntary contact with Zach Osborne. The French rider on the KTM disappeared from the race. This way, Ken Roczen and Eli Tomac could decide among themselves who would claim the overall victory in the match. Kenny Roczen managed to hold the lead in the match for a long time, but with about a third of the match to go, Eli Tomac struck. The Kawasaki pilot passed the HRC Honda pilot and immediately took an option on the overall victory. A little later, Ken Roczen also had to let Zach Osborne pass and the German eventually finished third in this second moto.
