Max Anstie has to miss three final GPs
After further investigation, it appears that Max Anstie's injuries prevent him from competing in the last 3 GPs of the year. Standing Construct KTM announced this in a press release.
“In the first race in Lommel, Max not only dislocated his collarbone, he also injured his lung when he fell at the start of the second round in the Belgian MXGP,” explains Tim Mathys.
“Despite that serious injury, Max still won in Lommel, finished third in the timed training and fifth in the qualifying heat in Imola last weekend. Because he continued to push his body in Italy, he suffered a pneumothorax (a partially collapsed lung).”
“We have once again experienced what a dedicated and professional driver Max is. We hope that he will be fit again in time for the Motocross of Nations in Assen. There he will start again as one of the favorites and could repeat his dominant victory during the Motocross of Nations in 2017.
