Kras finishes despite a third place in Imola
In Imola, Mike Kras increased his lead in the European 2-Stroke Championship by four points. The Team Ecomaxx rider (photo) had to settle for third place. However, his rival Brad Anderson finished fifth at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari. The victory went to Manuel Iacopi, the 22-year-old Yamaha rider started best and he never relinquished this position. Compatriot Gianluca Deghi finished second ahead of Kras, Todd Kellett and reigning champion Anderson. Nick Leerkes finished sixteenth while Belgian Tanguy Gabriel scored two points by finishing nineteenth. The difference between Kras and Anderson is now six points in favor of the Rotterdam-born rider.
