Prado on pole again, Flanders neatly fifth!
For the seventh time this season, Jorge Prado can start from pole position. The KTM rider managed to win the qualifying race over 20 minutes and two laps in Palembang by Mitch Evans and Thomas Kjer Olsen. After a long rehabilitation due to an infection, Calvin Vlaanderen (photo) is back in the world championship. The Honda rider finished fifth while Brent Vandoninck performed very well in eighth place. Jago Geerts falls briefly and therefore has to be satisfied with twelfth place. Bas Vaessen crosses the finish line in fourteenth.
