Prado wins the first heat, Geerts fifth
In Loket, Jorge Prado won the first round of the Czech Grand Prix. The Spaniard won the FOX Holeshot Award ahead of Tom Vialle and Calvin Vlaanderen. This remains the top three for almost 25 minutes, but then the Frenchman and the Dutchman collide. Henry Jacobi benefits and the F&H Racing driver finishes second ahead of Thomas Kjer Olsen, Jed Beaton and Jago Geerts (photo). Flanders still finishes ninth ahead of Brent Vandoninck. There are no points for Cyril Genot (23rd) and Marcel Conijn (31st) while Davy Pootjes is not in action due to a painful ankle.
