Motocross Zaltbommel back on the Waal!
In 1949 the first Motocross competition was held in Zaltbommel. The 'Waalrace' was organized at the time for the benefit of the soldiers stationed in Indonesia. After all, they had to know that the population here sympathized with them.
On Saturday, August 31, 2019, a Motocross competition will again be held at the Waal (near Gamerschedijk 6 in Zaltbommel). MSV De Waal will take care of the organization in collaboration with MCC Neerrijnen.
It will be an Open Cup Cross for which anyone in possession of a MON or KNMV pass can register. The following classes will appear at the start: 65-85-MX2 Enthusiasts-MX1 Enthusiasts, Starting License Holders and, to top it all off, the Oldtimer sidecars of the Classic Sidecar Cross Club (CZC). That day they will compete for the traditional Holland Cup.
To make things run more smoothly on competition day, we ask participants to register in advance. Send an email with your details, starting number, class and transponder number to: basvandervoorn@gmail.com
