La Chinelle night training for Grobben and Dewulf!
At KTM Belgium they leave nothing to chance in the run-up to the 12 hours of La Chinelle. Last night Jeffrey Dewulf and Cedric Grobben completed their first training in the dark in Namur!
Gaining experience with the KTM 350, riding in the dark, in short, a first “system check” was what manager Mickaël Despontin had in store for his men. Strongman Antoine Magain stopped by but then traveled to France where he will ride in the 4th round of the French championship this weekend. However, Magain has already been on the podium in the largest enduro competition in our country and has tons of experience.
For Jeffrey Dewulf, who was on the podium in the ADAC MX Masters last weekend, this test was ideal to get back into the spirit of La Chinelle. Everything was new for La Chinelle debutant Cedric Grobben. Nevertheless, the entire team had a good feeling about their nightly exercise. It goes without saying that such enduro work for motocross riders must always be adapted to the special circumstances that are so typical for the brainchild of Joël Robert. Not to mention driving in the dark. So be careful when you make a wheelie!
Before the La Chinelle from 9 to 11 August, the KTM Belgium riders will complete at least one more night training.
