KTM's top team for La Chinelle: Dewulf-Grobben-Magain!
With more than 30.000 spectators, the 12 hours of La Chinelle is and remains the largest off-road competition in our country. For this 40th edition, KTM Belgium is deploying an unprecedented but very strong team. Enduro star Antoine Magain will be joined by Jeffrey Dewulf and Cédric Grobben!
The last KTM victory in this tough endurance race dates back to 2015 when Cedric Cremer, Thierry Klutz and Dimitre Vanhoecker won. However, for the race on August 10 and 11 in Franchimont, KTM team manager Mickaël Despontin put together a fast and ambitious team.
Antoine “MiniMax” Magain is currently the fastest enduro rider in our country and has a lot of experience in La Chinelle. This season he is stringing together victories on Belgian soil, while he is also always at the front in the French championship and in the EnduroGP Junior World Championship. Magain has already been on the podium three times in the 12 hours of La Chinelle but has never won.
Jeffrey Dewulf's efficient style and his speed suit this match perfectly. Moreover, the West Flemish KTM rider comes to this edition with experience. After all, he made his debut there last year. For Cédric Grobben, another fast boy, it will be the first time in the 12 hours, but with two strong teammates and an experienced team around him, this does not have to be a handicap.
Last year, victory in the 12 hours of La Chinelle went to Zone Rouge MX Action Yamaha, which with Daymond Martens / Jérémy Carpentier / Cedric Cremer defeated the Husky trio Kevin Fors / Wietse Brackman / Jeff Goblet. In addition to the 12 hours for the big boys, a youth competition (Mini Chinelle) and two classic car competitions (vintage & Evo) are also on the program.
