F&H Racing duo in the top ten!
On the beautiful Palembang circuit, Henry Jacobi and Adam Sterry managed to score well during the eleventh Grand Prix of the season. The F&H Racing Team rider both managed to get into the top ten! Henry finished tenth and eighth during the heats, which were held in very warm conditions. Adam had a tough first heat in which he finished thirteenth, but later in the day the Brit finished ninth! Victory during the Indonesian Grand Prix went to Jorge Prado, the Spaniard is also the leader in the standings with seven races left on the calendar.
1st Round
Both riders did not get off to a great start in the first heat on this warm Sunday. Due to the heat, it takes some time to find the right pace in the initial phase because 30 minutes and two laps is a long time under these conditions. Henry comes out of the first lap in twelfth place, followed by his teammate Adam. In the first ten minutes, Henry has a nice duel with Kawasaki colleague Moreau. The Frenchman is passed and not much later Pichon also has to watch Henry reach the top. Moreau does not give in and passes Henry again, but after 30 minutes Henry manages to pass Moreau again, after which an exciting duel follows with Boisrame, so that the German crosses the finish line neck and neck with the Frenchman in tenth. Adam made a small mistake that lost him thirteenth place, but the Leatt-clad rider comes back to cross the finish line in thirteenth.
2st Round
During the start of the second round, Adam is the best out of the starting blocks of the F&H Racing duo. The 22-year-old Briton has a duel with Maxime Renaux for more than ten minutes. When this passes, Adam can give chase, passing Boisrame and the crosser from Walsh re-enters the top ten. Henry has worked his way up from outside the top ten and manages to pass his teammate halfway through the moto. In the second half of the race, the also 22-year-old German can work his way up to eighth place, followed by Adam who crosses the finish line in ninth.
Next game:
The F&H Racing Team will remain in Indonesia next week because the Asian Grand Prix will be held in Semarang next weekend. The team will then travel back to the Netherlands for the final of the KNMV Dutch Masters of Motocross during the Zwarte Cross in Lichtenvoorde.
