Febvre controls Loket's MXGP race!
After two years of drought, Romain Febvre was able to taste victory again during the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic in Loket! The Frenchman was the strongest in both heats against the current leader in the MXGP World Championship; Tim Gajser. Jeremy Seewer completed the Yamaha party by finishing third twice. He was also allowed to take the podium as the second Yamaha pilot, next to the brilliant Romain Febvre.
It was also quite a decent Grand Prix for the lowlanders. Jeremy Van Horebeek scored a fifth place overall and 29 points. Brian Bogers rode a very good first moto with a ninth place as a result, in the second moto he scored a twelfth place and finished eleventh overall, one place behind Glenn Coldenhoff who finished the first moto “only” thirteenth and in the second heat eighth. Kevin Strijbos scored seventeen points this weekend, which he achieved by finishing fourteenth once and eleventh once.
Micha-Boy De Waal did not have the luck to score points in the first moto, but in the second moto he scored two points and that ensured that he was classified twenty-second overall. The last lowlander in the Grand Prix result this weekend was Cedric Grobben, the Belgian did not really come close to points with two twenty-sixth place finishes.
