Dean Ferris suffers a thumb injury!
This season is not going smoothly for Dean Ferris. Replacing Romain Febvre, he suffered a knee injury during the British GP. The adventure with Team Yamaha USA then came to an early end and Ferris returned to Australia early. In his own country he was supposed to finish the season for Raceline KTM, but unfortunately that won't happen. Earlier this week Ferris suffered a thumb injury for which he has since undergone surgery. As a result, 29-year-old Ferris will no longer play during the Australian Nationals this season.
