Vaessen, Geerts and Vandonick in the top ten
The first round of the German Grand Prix was won by Jorge Prado. The Spaniard led from start to finish ahead of teammate Tom Vialle. The Frenchman finished second ahead of Henry Jacobi (photo), who was adored by his home crowd. The fourth plate is for Thomas Kjer Olsen and Bas Vaessen. The best Belgian is Jago Geert who manages to decide a nice duel with Brent Vandoninck in his favor. The KEMEA rider crosses the finish line in ninth place ahead of the Team Assomotor rider. Cyril Genot (25th) and Lars Greekpoort (31st) reach the finish but do not score any points.
