Todd Waters the new leader in Australia
The sixth race of the Pirelli Australian MX Nationals was held at the new Gympie circuit. In the toughest class the victory went to Todd Waters. The former GP rider managed to finish first and second, which earned him the day's victory. Kirk Gibbs (3-1) finished second ahead of Brett Metcalfe (2-4) who made his return to competition. Waters is the new leader in the standings, followed by Luke Clout by just three points. In MX2 the victory goes to Wilson Todd, he won both motos. Kyle Webster (3-2) and Aaron Tanti (2-4) were allowed to climb onto the podium. Todd has a 24 point lead over Webster in the standings.
