Pootjes will miss the German GP due to an ankle injury
Next weekend during the German Grand Prix, Davy Pootjes will unfortunately have to watch. The Husqvarna rider crashed during qualifying for the Latvian GP. He hurt his ankle, which meant he was unable to score any points for the FIM MX2 World Championship the next day. The Gelderlander has received plenty of treatment over the past day, but despite this effort it is not possible to appear at the start during the Grand Prix in Teutschenthal. After nine matches in the World Cup, Pootjes is ninth despite remaining scoreless in Russia and Latvia. Hopefully the Team Diga Procross rider can return to action during the Indonesian GP.
